Requirements for KeyTrain in Mathematics:
1. All students will be given a composition book.
2. Student must show your work in your math composition book. Failure to show your work in your composition book means you will get zero (0) POs, even if you complete the KeyTrain lessons properly. Remember, no work, no POs. No exceptions.
3. You must date your work each day in your math composition book. No dates, no POs. No exceptions.
4. You must first complete the Intro to KeyTrain Course in order to get any POs in KeyTrain.
5. You then go to Applied Mathematics Course and take the PreTest. This will show you where to start on the Levels in KeyTrain Applied Mathematics Course.
6. You also must complete the Reading for Info., Locating Information, Bus. Writing, and Teamwork Courses to complete your math class after completing the Applied Mathematics Course.
7. PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY: You need to work through each lesson and then check your grade BEFORE taking the lesson quiz. If you score 80 percent or higher, you may take the lesson quiz. If you don’t get an 80 or higher, go back and take the lesson again until you achieve a score of 80 or higher. You can check your score by exiting out of your course, go to the home button at the top left of the page, and click it. Then click the Quiz Detail Report and scroll down until you see the lesson and its score.
8. You will receive 3 POs for each Level you complete. A Level is a complete set of lessons, including a final quiz that is assigned for a Level. You must score at least a score of 80 percent to pass a level. You must also have scored at least an 80 percent on each Key Lesson in the Level before taking the final quiz.
9. You get zero (0) POs for any Levels that you are exempted from in your PreTests. That is because you already possess that knowledge; it also allows you to start later in the Course, so you don’t have to take those Lessons.
10. You are responsible to turn in your composition book at the end of the marking period. This will normally be at the end of class on the last Thursday of the marking period. If you are out of school, this is not an excuse for not turning in your composition book. It is at the discretion of the teacher whether to give you PO credit upon turning in your book late. You have no right to complain if you don’t turn in your book on or before the due date. Remember. No composition book, no POs. No exceptions. (Completed properly.)
