evolve plant the planet

Now is the time Plan it Plant it Planet!

This is in fact a vision of human sustainability. Our mission to restore the planet is more a humanitarian movement than anything else.  The earth is ultimatley certain to heal itself, yet it remains uncertain how long humans will be here to honor and experience it.  We are obligated to respond in order to save ourselves

If the human species is to evolve, we believe the first step is to realize that we can create what is truly heaven on earth. The earth is our canvas; we can preserve this place as beautiful and sustainable if we choose. We feel that fear and ignorance is slowing our evolutionary process, Essentially we've lost ourselves in false comforts  and securities.

What we accomplish for the planet however,is truly for the sake of all! I've come to realize that despite feeling a deep respect for the intrinsic value and intelligence of our natural world, i can't deny we are also saving ourselves! So yes, save yourself! Get into the garden... and help evolution get back on track!  Realize that complacency and indecision is destroying our planet. We research new technologies and wait for them to improve... remaining indecisive about solutions.. Yet we need to see ourselves at the end of our deadline for coming up with new ideas.  It's time to work, and we need to work with what we know is effective now.  Perhaps in realizing this, we will have more faith in solutions that were brought to the table long ago, Changing our habits of consumption, or reforestation for example, may actually be more obvious and simple.

Our existence is a gift rather than a a resource to be pillaged.  We find value in expliotation of people and natural resources. What is the reason for this?

I couldn't agree more! How can I get started planting paulownia trees? I'm in the middle of permaculturing my yard and I've got a place for them. It's time that we think in terms of creating and nurturing ecosystems. This is how we declare our intent to be a part of the world's evolution rather than its destruction. It is time to wake up. I want to be a part of it!
