WHEREAS:

SVUUS is identified as a Welcoming Congregation, and

All goals of the strategic plan support this cause, and

SVUUS is committed to teaching, and

Programs for adults are offered on both floors, and

Youth programs are offered only downstairs, and

Intergenerational Programs offered only downstairs exclude members and  friends, and

SVUUS is not presently fully ADA compliant;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

An elevator be installed to grant access for all to all programs offered at SVUUS, and

An ADA-compliant Restroom be installed on the main floor.

WITH THE BLESSING OF THE VOTING MEMBERS AT THE ANNUAL CONGREAGATIONAL MEETING AND THE FOLLOW-UP MEETING.
