The Dream Zone

What are your dreams?  Where do you see your life right now?  What do you see for your future?  What are your deepest desires, aspirations, hopes, fantasies, musings, and visions?  We all have them from the smallest unimportant things (I hope Nellie has some chicken wings here tonight) to the magnanimous (I want a big house, big car, with a big husband) to the most meaningful (Does God love me even with all my stuff?). 

I just mentioned three different levels of dreams.  There are more depending on what priority you place them in.  Now I do realize we have a mixed bunch here tonight.  Actually that was by design.  I want to reiterate that it doesn’t matter your background, your denomination, your race, your marital status or even your level of spirituality.  No matter where you are, there are dreams you have for yourself.  Right now we are dealing with just YOU!!!  Not the kids, the man, the job….YOU!! 

With all that being said there are examples of dreams women had in the bible.  Let’s go through a few of them:

Hannah, Leah, Sarah, Abigail, Mary, even Eve

Let’s talk about your spiritual dreams/thoughts.  Have you realized any of your dreams? If not, why not? If so, which ones?  How have your dreams changed over the years.

Do you know God has plans for your life??  Do you know that He cares for you regardless of choices we’ve made over time? (Jer 29:11)  God’s Word says that God’s plans, goals and thoughts for you are good.  Perhaps your life is so messed up right now because of the way you are living or the people you are associating with or you just wanting to do things your way.  Even if that is you, God is not mad at you.  You have the opportunity to stop in your tracks, get up, repent, and start from where you are today.  God knows you have sinned and have tried it your way but He still loves you even the more.  Remember He created you.  He knows every hair on your head, He knows you better than you know yourself.  No matter what you have done, where you have been, or even who you’ve been with, you can turn to Him and He can put you in the place you should be.   God is able to put you back on track so that you can continue your assignment and walk into your destiny.   Are you ready to find out what that is????
