Many different sustainable management systems have been put forward as viable solutions that will take the pressure off tropical forests. 

This topic area will look at solutions which range from reforestation efforts using such trees as The Paulownia Tree, the Reclaiming of Surface-Mined Lands, and defining a Sustainable Investment Criteria; to use of technologies such as the Rocket Stove which decrease the demand placed on forests by those living in or around the effected area.
