Science
In thirty years of nature photography, Gary Braasch has documented the work of many scientists. He not only photographs their subjects, but also the tools they use and the adventure of getting to their sites all over the world. Most of the images shown on these pages were made for magazines, and additonal photography since 2000 was made for the project World View of Global Warming (see World Global Warming website). The Patterns section was produced during the creation of the book Photographing the Patterns of Nature (Amphoto 1999).
