Kalaweit project was created in 1999 to help and rescue the captive gibbons in Indonesia . The objective is to return these gibbons in wildlife after a required rehabilitation work. This is done through a comprehensive approach, with a protection of the environment of these gibbons (creation of a reserve for wildlife, fight against deforestation) and the integration of local Rescue of gibbons.
