Plants, animals, etc. (Eukaryota)

Eukaryotes (also referred to as the Eukaryota or the Eukarya) comprise one of the three recognized domains of cellular life, the other two being Archaea (or Archaebacteria) and bacteria (or Eubacteria). Eukaryotes are distinguished from Archaea and Eubacteria in many different ways, most importantly being a much greater degree of structural organization and the existence of a distinct cellular nucleus.  The Eukaryotes show an unbelievable diversity in form and include the organisms that most people are most familiar with: all animals, plants, fungi, and protists.
